Zinnia California Giant Mix is a tall, large-flowered zinnia variety known for its bold, colorful blooms. It is ideal for garden beds, borders, and especially for cut-flower arrangements thanks to its long stems and impressive flower size.

Location & Soil:
This variety grows best in full sun, requiring 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily. It prefers well-drained, fertile soil and thrives in warm weather. Avoid overly wet or shaded areas.

When to Plant:
Sow outdoors in late spring after the last frost has passed. For earlier blooms, start seeds indoors 3–4 weeks before the final frost date.

How to Sow:
Plant seeds about 1 cm deep and keep the soil evenly moist until germination, which usually takes 5–10 days. Once seedlings develop true leaves, space them 30–45 cm apart to allow room for tall growth.
