Purple Vienna Kohlrabi develops smooth, round purple bulbs with pale green-white flesh and a mild, slightly sweet cabbage-like flavor. White Vienna Kohlrabi produces light green to creamy-white bulbs with crisp white flesh and a similarly mild, tender taste. The main difference between these two varieties is bulb color.
